A link between heartburn and paralysis?

Posted by SirSleepsAlot on November 02, 2000 at 10:14:59:

I have noticed over the last few years, that if I have heartburn before bedtime, I am gauranteed a night full of sleep paralysis. They usually come hand in hand, hardly ever one without the other. I could have missed something very important along the way, maybe the two are so closely related that noone really needs mentioning the heartburn because only a fool wouldn't know they're not related? But really I need to know if there is any possible connection!
