Hi,
A bit perplexed after the reading of your last posting.
My opinion is that it is quite simplistic to relate all the sleeping problems to serotonin which is certainly a important brain chemical mediator but not the only one and as we all known for the 30th of August that the lack of orexins is due to a physical and dramatical destruction of special neurons secreting hypocretin in the twenties and not to serotonin abnormalities.
But it is also true that serotoninergic drugs are playing a important part in sleeping problems as they are used to fight cataplexy and depression but very often with gain of weight while some of them like dexfenfluramin (Isomerid)have also been used against overweight but now left because heart problems.
Could you give more details about fluorides and fluorated drugs I only know fluoride used to protect teeth against decay.
Glad you have found a way to feel better.
