Sorry to hear that your doctor didn't believe in narcolepsy, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't. I don't live in the US, but in my country it's said that for people with narcolepsy it takes in average 12-16 years and 6 doctors to get a diagnoze... Keep fighting for what you believe is right! Believe me, in the long end it's worth all the time and effort.
