Reatha,
I agree with Emma. Go for it while you have the chance. I have read alot of other posting form others that had inconclusive test results. Even
mine were thought to be EDS. The Neurologist I seen had the genic test done. I thought it was a waste of time. I knew it would come back negative.
Guess what, it came back positive. But according
to the pulmonlogist that was treating me for sleep apnea told me that the gene test isn't always reliable. So who knows? It this point I just deal with the symtoms. Some day they will find a diffenent test that will say yes or no. But for know their guessing. But yet still looking for a test that will really show whether or not someone has Narcolepsy. I wish that no one had it, but sometimes even wishes don't come true. If I had the chance to have the spinal tap I'd go for it.
Their finding out alot about this oroxin. The more testing they do the more results they'll find. I've been a guinea pig from the day of my birth (I
was born the oldest so everything was tried on me first). I'd do it now if I had the chance to help myself or someone else. I say go for it. If they need more volunteers let me know were to contact them.
