narcolepsy and sleep apnia

I have sevier sleep apnia, i have had 3 sleep studys, but i find myself falling asleep all the time, i have fallen asleep during conversations, i have had to pull my car over because i felt myself falling asleep, i have 1 member of my fam diegnosed with narcolpesy, does this skip a generation
i find myself falling asleep alot I cant help this, i do not know if it the apnia or if it could be narcoplesy.
can people have both of these conditions
