I'm on Rithalin now, and for me it has worked wonders. It keeps me awake and more alert. I do tend to feel sleepy when I don't take the medication at the right time, but that is just me forgetting what time it is:)
I do also get hazy sometimes mostly when I'm really bored. And nothing more than "normal" people do. I don't have much sideeffects anymore, just that I don't feel like eating and that one I can live with...

You can learn from what others have experienced with their drugs, but you are unique so you have to try them yourself to find the drug that suites you.
