Not sure if I have narcolepsy

Posted by Sarah on December 09, 2000 at 20:29:38:

I have been tired all the time for years now. I fall asleep in my lectures at university, and nap very frequently. Sometimes, when I am sleeping in class I don't realize it right away because I can still hear the professor. No matter how much I sleep, I am still tired. I do not "go limp" when emotional though. I always feel groggy and often. When I am under a lot of stress I nap more often and am more tired than I normally am.

I have had a sleep study, and the doctor thought that I had narcolepsy, but then when I had my MSLT he said that I didn't.

For the MSLT though, I couldn't sleep because the wires were really bothering me and I was really nervous and well-rested after being on holiday.

Does this still sound like narcolepsy? Any suggestions?
