I would assume your doctor would know what he's doing. I don't think I would be to concerned about how long you were off the meds before the test. Alot of times it depends on what they call the half life of the medication your taking. This refers to how long the med stays in your system.
Different meds have different half lives. Your may
have emptied your system in a week were someone else meds may have taken 3 weeks. It all depends on the medication. Also with the finding of the oroxin lose in the spinal fluid. This is a new test. From what I've read their finding that those with Narcolepsy are missing this hormone. But I don't think it diffenently is a test for Narcolepsy at this point. For that matter I don't think there is any diffenent test to prove that some one has Narcolepsy. Some of the testing has shown that people with some things maybe more prone to have at problem with it but that isn't totally true because they have found some with no symtoms of the illness at all. To my knowledge they basically go be the symtoms. Please if I'm wrong some one let me know. But this has been my experience.
