Rob,
No one wants to accept that they have a malfunction in their body. But unfortunitly it does happen. As for the over the counter medications I would greatly discourage you from attempting to do this. Why? If you take to much of and over the counter medication you could do your self more harm then good. I know you guys don't like going to the doctor or admitting that something is wrong. But Rob, look at the situation. You've had 3 accidents. You could of hurt someone else and/or your self. We are all to drive defensively. That's alittle hard to do if you can't stay awake. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I just can't help to want to help you see the seriousness of the situation. Using over the counter meds is like the blind treating themselves. Like those who may be using alcohol to treat and emotional illness. Where if they would be seen by the doctor they could be taking the proper med and get better faster then trying to wing it on their own not knowing what their doing. Please go see a sleep speacialist. Believe me you will feel so much better in the long run. If you get a chance read the posting ahead of your from
Gordon and my response. Both of you have thing in common. Keep in Touch,

Deb
