You shouldn't be afraid of beign diagnosed with narcolepsy. If you have it, you are already suffering from it, being diagnosed won't make it any worse. If you are diagnosed, you can then benefit from all the drugs available. My enjoyment of life went up 10 fold when I started taking provigil.

Also, getting SP doesnt necessarily mean you have Narcolepsy. being sleep deprived can do it too. My doctor originally thought i just had deladed sleep phase syndrom (or something like that) at first, until they did test for narcolepsy (MSLT or something like that. For me, it was actually a relief to finally have a name for what was wrong with me.

I can promise you will not regret going to a sleep clinic.
