I have noticed that when I have Provigil in my system and I am at my job, which is quite physically demanding, I can whip myself into quite a frenzy when I need to move fast. I feel I wouldn't be moving this frantically if I were on no medication at all. Unlike Ritalin and Cylert, however, as soon as I feel I can relax I can and do with no problem (sometimes even falling asleep). Since I need to work fast frequently, I think I expend much more energy with Provigil than I would without. But if I take Provigil at home on a lazy rainy sunday I don't get that turbo-charged feeling at all. Nevertheless the net effect at the end of a week is I have burned a lot of extra calories. Another side effect I have noticed is that I can deal better emotionally with all the stupidity and politics at work. A huge bonus in my particular case. Anyone else?
