I completely understand ... what I have found is that I WILL get up if I know that I get to go back to sleep. I get up at the first buzz of my alarm at 5:00am -- take a 10 minute shower, and then I reset my alarm and go back to sleep till 7:00am or 7:15am. And at 7:00, it is mentally in my mind -- I HAVE to get up now because I've already slept at least an hour and a half after the first time I got up. Most people don't relate to the idea that I can get up and then go back to sleep so soon, but I imagine that you might know what I'm talking about. Also, -- when I get up the second time in the morning, I am out the door in 20 minutes because if I have any down time, then I'll want to crawl back in bed. anyway, no matter what you think of that idea (you may think I'm crazy, cause lots of folks do) but, -- the biggest thing I've found is to keep a rigid waking schedule, no matter what it is. hope this helps?!
