PLEASE HELP FRIEND WITH SLEEPING PROBLEM

Posted by BoBo on February 25, 2001 at 06:35:10:

I have a friend that have a sleeping disorder
but have never been diagnosed.

He falls asleep whenever he eats anything
even a carot or 1 spoon of soup. 5 minutes after
eating he falls asleep for 15-30 minutes and then
seem to be better, but unless I let him sleep
he continues to nod his head until he has been
out completely for at least 15 minutes.

This has happened every single time over the
last 6 months when we have had dinner and the
behaviour is the same every time (25-30 occassions).

He will fall asleep even when we are attending
important business lunches or dinners.

It can be any time during the day
and is not only at dinners. Food
is definately a trigger and he can
be completely gone for up to 30
minutes even with loud music in a
restaurant.

Could anyone email john @ uk2.net
(remove spaces) with what he needs
to do to establish what the problem
is or which specialists he needs to see.

Thanks,

Bo
