Irritability

Does anyone else out there get horribly irritable when they are really really tired? Every little noise bothers me, including my husband's breathing. Even my skin crawls because it either feels too tight or because my clothes feel like steel wool. I have no patience for little things and if I am around people and they jostle me I want to bop them. I just want to scream in my head and I feel like I will go insane if I do not get that elusive "good night's sleep" instead of the half-awake, half-dream surface-level sleep.
Am I just nuts?
