Hey Geo-
For me being female, oh yea it's a trigger. The best part LOL is the fact that with my cataplexy I get the uncontrolled laughter. Needless to say we have a happy sex life with a lot of lafter. My suggestion tho' is to be careful with the meds u may be prescribed for the cataplexy. My doc has prescribed low doses of antidepressants, for me these have caused various types of sexual dysfunction side effects I am absolutely NOT willing to live with or adjust to so the meds are OUT for me often he has given me a new one, but I have ended up with the same side effects.
Humor is important tool to get thru some of this stuff. The whole limp paralysis thing... we call it the "tranquilized polar bear"... hahahah any too hoo good luck keep laffing and having fun.

Peace and Sleep Well
Sammy
