What now ?

Posted by Sleepless in Indy on February 27, 2001 at 11:19:04:

Ok, first I had my sleep test and my MSLT done in Nov.2000, I do have Sleep Apnea pressure of 8cm and after 4 weeks on CPAP and even still am having EDS, headachs, and mild cataplexy and also mild RLS. Mysleep doctor ordered a CT scan, blood work for Narc. and a MMPI test all since Jan.2001. I went back today for all the test results and he came in anad asked me how I felt? I told him I still was so very sleepy during the day that now my boss is making wise cracks to me everytime he sees me or calls me ( oh did I wake you up ) So anyway this is how my visit ended! He boldly told me that since all my tests came back negitive that there wasnt anything more he could do for me and said that the CPAP wasnt doing its job so he is going to call Apria and have them come and pick it up. I tried to question him and he just left the room. WHATS UP WITH THAT? So now where or who do I turn to? I told the Recpt. when I checked out that I wanted a copy of everything in my file and she asked why did I need this and I told her I was changing doctors, she put my file on the counter and said we will mail these thing to you and walked away from the counter. I have never been so upset in my life I left the place so angry that when I pulled off the interstate I went right through the stop light at the bottom. Thank GOD there were no cars coming I could have killed someone or myself. Any sugestions on what my next step sould be? Thats for letting me vent...
Sweet Dreams :) :) :)
