Sunlight,
I'm just north of Vancouver Washington. I was in bed and thought the earthquake was just another hallucination. I often feel the bed shake for no reason. Then I thought that the washer must be off balance and then realized that I wasn't doing any wash. THEN I finally realized what was happening and got my children in a "safe" place. By that time it was almost over. That really scared me. What if the house came tumbling down all around us or if there was a fire? Would I be able to think clearly enough to react? That's the thought that keeps me at night. I can't even trust myself.-doormouse
