Hi Kara - the first day I took provigil, I felt like I was going 200 mph all day!!! It wasn't as intense after that. It definitely keeps me awake, better than ritalin does. I also don't have problems with dry mouth. A little anxiety, but not so much I can't deal with it. Jeanne
