Hi,

I too have N without C but my M.D. here in Canada is insisting that you cannot have N without C. He says that N without C is Idiopathic Hypersomnia. Because I argued that I have all of the symptoms of N and am positive for the genetic marker, he finally granted me an "Atypical Narcolepsy Syndrome" diagnosis. Can you let me know how they tested your hypocretin levels? Also, can you point me to someone at Stanford whom I can get info from re: having N without C (or if there is a website out there)? I am tired of not having a conclusive diagnosis even though I have N and know it.

Thanks,
Canine.
