You can contact the research coordinator, Michele Okun, by either logging onto the Stanford Center for Narcolepsy or by telephone. (650) 725-6512 or Email michele.okun@stanford.edu. I feel that it's probably ok to give out this info since it's viewable to anyone who logs on to the site. All of the tests can be done at your Dr's office and then sent to Stanford with a questionaire that you fill out. The Dr will do a spinal tap so that they can test your cerebral spinal fluid for hypocretins and they will also draw blood to do a different HLA gene typing that isn't being used clinically yet.
