If I understand correctly you have not had sleep lab testing,so how do you know you don't have apnea and the meds you are takeing are just making thing worse? maybe if you mention stanfords free spinal fluid test(for narcolepsy) to your Doc you can get things started in right direction.Like I said if I understand your situation correctly making sure you have a correct diagnosis could be a life and death issue be carful especialy driveing etc.Do you live in a large city ? Do they have a sleep lab?
