I take both Parnate and Provigil and have been able to function for the last year without naps. I still get that "groggy, I can't function" feeling occasionaly, but at least I'm funtioning as a graduate student at an engineering colleg.

Parnate, along with Nardil, is one of the drugs originally prescribed for narcolepsy in the 1960s before some of the other stuff became available. I tried the amphetemins and they raised my blood pressure, but a lot of folks swear by them. Ritalin and Cylert could have been sugar pills for all the good they did for me.

How far are you from Morgantown, WV? I highly recommend my physician. He is John Young at West Virginia University. His office phone is (304) 598-4118. I know that he would also be willing to consult with your physician.
