Mitral Valve Prolapse

Posted by Winter on June 29, 2001 at 10:21:47:

I just went to my yearly check up with the sleep doctor, and I complained to him about my heart skipping beats. I thought it had something to do with the ritalin, but he sent me over to have a heart ultrasound. I was diagnosed with MVP, and the ultrasound tech had mentioned that MVP can cause or be behind narcolepsy. Has anyone else heard this before or have both, or did the lady not know what she was talking about. I forgot to ask my doctor that question, and since he is alway so busy I figured I would see if anyone from here had heard this before.

Thanks,
Winter
