hey duck...
norway... wow. you don't sound in the least bit stupid however, your docs don't seem particularly bright. from what you've described, losing consienceness, you don't sound as though you're suffering from n. suffering yes but not from n unless by losing conscienceness you mean falling asleep.

egs are not a test for n... not that i've ever heard of. testing for n is usually very simple and, not always but usually, when that test is done you either do or don't have n.... and i'm sure there's a sleep lab somwhere there.

no, you don't want to be diagnosed with n just to put a name to it or for any other reason. it's lifelong and there is no cure... not even anything that makes it better except various drugs that go against the natural function of your system to force you awake.

did anyone tell you why the thought n might be involved? do you have any other symptons that might lead you to believe you're n person? and, are all the p eople in norway as friendly as the few i've met?

sure wish you the best, now take a minute, go to the home page here and read all about n and other sleep disorders.

things sound tough... i'm sorry and hope all turns out well.

God Bless

chucker
