Tank you for your story. I don`t see why your doctor is so eager to make you change medication: Why change something that works?!

My problem is even bigger than you think (seen from my point of view, that is...). My doctor didn`t actually recommend Ritalin - he just said that that and Dex is the only medication he had heard about (and some research from his part showed that it actually was the only N meds (even they are not really for N) that are on sale here). He has never prescribed it before. And my own research gives my the impression that if I really want it I would need a lawyer more than a doctor... Cause the prescriptions seams to be given out on rare rare occations...
If I just could try Ritalin for a few days - just like that - you bet I would!

But on top of my fear that my body want tolerate Ritalin, (Which is not without reason. I have tried a bunch of other meds that are not for N - of course they didn`t work, but I got negative effects from all of them - Prozac being one.)
I have the fear that if I get real desperate and wants to try it, I will probably have to fight for it in court for 10 years... I might as well apply for disably benefit right away...

So much for having rare deceases in small countries...
