How very sad- I can't believe that the physician wouldn't want to do the research themselves. Further, Provigil isn't an anphetimine, like Ritalin and is therefore more easily attianable, but if a physician is willing to sign a perscription on your word (not that you're untrustworthy)- that's really frightening. What would happen if it was something else that would react with other medications you're taking? Or perhaps exacerbate a pre-existing condition? Run to a doc who, if not more knowledgeable, is willing to learn and who cares for your long-term health.
