I can't say how to get rid of sp, but the nightmares can go away. I still have sp all the time but the vividity of my nightmares is extremely less terrifying. Depending on the meds your on, jeanne was right...anti-deps work well. Also there are other types of drugs that can help, like mild anti-deps such as norpramine as opposed to prozac or wellbutrin. Right now I'm taking Vivactil, which is somekind of drug that promotes muscle control???or something like that. My doc prescribes it for C and nighmares.
Talk to your doc, find out what you can take, if anything.
