Sunlight and narcolepsy?

can someone please tell me if you experience this problem? I am narcoleptic, and cannot tolerate exposure to sunlight. I wear sunglasses year round, which brings some relief, but only minimal. When I am in sunlight, my episodes become much worse quickly. Even if I take my meds, for some reason, sunlight can make them either ineffective, or much weaker. Please help me with this one, if you can.
