For me - the Provigil seems to let me "catch" the sequence that usually leads to falling asleep. I'm not sure how to explain it, other than that my thoughts start drifting and my eyes drift right then I'm out. With Progivil the sequence starts but I can "snap" out of it.

I can nap while taking provigil.
