Hi there...

Pleased to meet ya all!!

I just wanted to sympathise with you on this matter.. i also take Provogil and when i was prescribed it, I WAS NOT told about that my Contraseptive Pill wouldnt work either.. it wasnt until I read the leaflet inside that I noticed it was on the list.. so i immediatly foned the Pharmasist I got the Med from, they said that they new nothing about the "Pill" not working and I was to contact my own Doctor, which I did, they said to contact the Pharmasist.. (HAHAH!) i said i have.. (it was like chasing your tail) they then said to fone the hospital and speek to my doctor there.. so I did.. he ALSO NEVER HAD A CLUE!! i lost my rag at this point!! so the doctor there must have realised my anger and said i will check it out and call you back straight away.. while i was waiting on him calling back, I contacted anther Pharmasist (one I knew was VERY helpfull.) and he checked it out there and then on his database for me,,, and sure enough the "Pill" will not work at all with Provogil, something to do with your Metabolism speeding up and NO ORAL tablets will work as effectively... anyways.. I am still waiting on my doctor from the hospital foning me back about it all!!!!!!!!!

When i next went to my "Well WOman" clinic to get another form of contraseptive, they never knew about it either!! but they do now.. as I have told them!!!

Bummer in it????? U think all these Doctors etc... would at least have some knowledge about these things!! I am honestly thinking of becoming a Doctor myself.. Oops forgot I cant.. would fall asleep on the job.. haha!!!

Good Luck in all you do...
Année
xx
