Nocturnal Myclonus

You might be talking about nocturnal myoclonus which is like a rhythmic movement of you legs through out the night. It can cause an "arousal" and therefore wake you up. I think you can have this all by itself and it can affect your sleep. This is different than periodic limb movement disorder or restless legs, but I'm not sure exactly what that is. Jeanne
