Thank you so much. That was just what I needed to know. The tech wouldn't even nod. The overnight study was different, because I already knew that I had Apnea, the tech talked pretty freely with me about apnea. The tech for the MSLT, on the other hand, was very evasive. I only had to take four of the naps, and she did say that they had the information that they needed, whatever that means. The only signs of possible cataplexy that I have is that when I fall asleep in a meeting, etc., my head drops violently and my hands and arms fall to my side. If I am holding something in my hands, it winds up on the floor. I have had this sleepiness for over 40 years. I limit my driving to that which is necessary, mostly to go to work. I was so thrilled to find this forum so that I can see what others are feeling and experiencing. Again, thank you for responding.
