I'm glad you feel better. My guess would be, that if the tech told you that they had the info they needed, it's probably going to point to something easily helped, narcolepsy or not. The important part is that they find out why this is happening, and go from there to figure out how to help you best. I had asked my MD, "What if you don't get the 2 REM naps? Is all this time and effort for nothing?" And he was very comforting, saying that he needed to have the most info possible to know where to begin to help, and what was going to be the best thing to try first. Just a point to start, not to get a lame test result and blow off treating you, like all the other, non-believing MD's. Hang in there- this is my 6th day or Provigil, and although it may take some adjusting meds, it helps already!
