meds - going crazy

i have been on various meds for 6 years now, mainly dexedrine. every so often i just cant stand taking them anymore, i go to the doc and try various alternatives always to end up back on dexedrine. they make me feel like im going crazy after taking them for a year or so. im now starting one of my "i cant take these pills anymore" episodes, any suggestions?
