I have met people that have narcolepsy and have taken amphetamines for 50 years and were doing fine! Also there are people that try amphetamines and have to quite so there is some individual stuff going on. In my own case I do ok with dexadrine as long as I nap if I don't I become chronicaly cross on a long term basis. Hopefully dymethyl amphetamine will be on the market soon and I think we should all be pressing the system to make sure that happens sooner rather than later. Unfortunatly people confuse the street abuse of speed with (where people get high for days and don't sleep) with the legitamate medical use of "speed".
