Genie -

One of our daughters takes Concerta (a form of Ritalin) for her ADHD/ADD. We were told by out pediatrician and the PhD clinical psychologist who diagnosed or daughter that drugs like Ritalin and Dexadrine are water-soluable. This means that the drugs don't remain in your body very long so the potential for long-term damage is very, very low.

Enjoy being awake and don't worry about long-terms effects of your medications.... Just let your sleep doc know if any problems develop.
