I think it's very possible that your symptoms are connected. Your twitching and kicking could be related to Cataplexy and/or restless legs syndrome. Either way you should definately see a sleep specialist about those problems. Are you on any kind of medications??? I know that when I had been taking Cylert for about a year it got really hard for me to fall asleep at night, and I was really really tired during the day....(meaning more so than usual :))
Anyway, hope you can get some more reliable answers soon.
