Each human requires a different amount of sleep, and that is dictated by their brain/body. The recommended avg. is 9 for teens (like you said), but some people need more, some less....

While there isn't a surefire solution, what you may need to do is to keep yourself on a regular sleep schedule, or if theater is getting too overwhelming, you may have to scale it back somewhat.
