Provigil Effects On Liver

Posted by Smilie on October 11, 2001 at 03:55:27:

Hi! I've been seeing a couple mentions of Provigil effecting the Liver. I believe "snoozer" wrote something of decreasing Provigil because liver enzymes were increased. I am wondering at what doze causes liver toxicity (if that's even the term to use)? Also, what are the symptoms of such? I've tried reading much on provigil, but I've never read anything on it's effects on the Liver. I'm also on another medicine that can cause liver toxicity, and am especially concerned about this. I took 100mg. Provigil daily for a year; 200mg. daily for the last six months; and currently take it mainly, as needed (sometimes upwards of 600mg.). Any information you all can provide will be greatly appreciated. :) Smilie
