I think it would be unwise to assume that Provigil
causes liver problems. ONE of my liver enzymes was up SLIGHTLY on my last blood test. It could very well have gone up because I was taking taking Kava, taking vitamins that had high amounts of vitamin A, and I was having one or two drinks every other night for two weeks prior to my blood test.
Obviously, looking back at the (idiotic) mix of stuff I was ingesting... no wonder my liver enzymes were affected! I've since reduced the amount of Provigil and vitamins I consume, and discontinued alcohol or kava.

If you are concerned about your liver being affected, by all means talk to your doctor about checking your liver functions. I have yet to run across any studies that indicate that Provigil causes liver problems.
