Snoozer, I am new to Provigil (6 days) but I have been on 400 mg of Wellbutrin for about 2 years for Major Recurring Depression (who wouldn't be depressed when all your body wants to do is sleep). The Wellbutrin helps me feel better in the daytime, but the 200 mg of Provigil that I have started with and the Wellbutrin are still allowing the need to sleep creep up on me in the early afternoon, and yesterday, I did fall asleep because I was sitting still for an hour. I do see some improvement in my sleepiness, however.

Good luck to you. It's rough to be so sleepy. I have obstructive sleep apnea and idiopathic hypersomnolence, which I am sure will ultimately be changed to Narcolepsy. I have to give my new doctor time to agree with me.
