Well, sorry to hear about the CPAP....
As for Ritalin SR, I think it's designed to last 6-8 hours (hence the designation SR). What your doc may do is have you maintain the 20mg/day of Ritalin SR, (if it's working) then when it wears off, they may prescribe you another med which will work for a shorter time.
Some docs also prescribe Concerta or Adderal XR since these meds tend to last longer in some patients....only your doc will know what's best for you.
