I took three courses for the Fall semester, and after some initial struggling with the increased work load was able to maintain. I'm taking three courses again this Spring. I'm enjoying the time off right now, hopefully sufficiently so that when I'm way too busy with school in another month I can remember it.

I've been somewhat creative with the learning process. I have some real problems with memory, like math for instance. I would do the work, but if I hadn't reviewed it recently enough (for a test)I would have absolutely no recollection of what to do. Or that I had ever done it. For reading, I often read material out loud, in addition to reading it to myself (several times), and writing copious notes to myself.

I managed to get A's, but lucky for me I had no regularly scheduled finals - only essay exams. Except for the math, but I was able to extend the amount of time I had to take it.

My hope is to be able to maintain three courses per semester. Once my youngest son is finished with high school (he's a junior now) I hope to take a course in December and one in the summer. That would put me on track for 24 credit hours per year and maybe be similar to the sustained energy I would require to be able to work.

That's my hope anyway. Thanks for asking.

Will you go back?
