The Times They are a Changin......

Posted by Shercat on January 01, 2002 at 19:37:53:

Hi Fellow Sleepie People,

I use to occasionally post but it has been a looooooog time. I am bored at work and need to keep my mind awake- thought I would use the logical way to do that and come here to the Narco group!!
Happy New Year! This is a very new year for me! I moved cross country from S.Cal to Georgia in Nov. Gads, what a change! It's cold here! I am a California native girl with the long blonde hair and all and am not very hardy. Maybe by next winter I will get hardier? Is that a word? I decided I would get involved in these little posties again because I remember they were fun and educational too.
FYI- My real name is Sherry. I am 47, have 3 furrkitties- Blackjack, Allie and Simon. I am an RN in a large managed care corporation. I just sit at a desk all shift and give clients medical advice. Easy job compared to hospital work BUT can cause a problem for someone who can fall asleep at any given moment! Oh well beats falling at work. My meds are- Provigil, Klonopin (at night)and various others related to old age stuff like hypertension etc. Ok, enough about me.
I just wanted to check in to see what's happening around Sleepnet. Hope ya'll (hehe I am pickin up a southern accent) are doing well and are feelin great. If not, here I am a shoulder to cry on. I am a great listener because that is all I do all day at my job. So much of my work is councelling. I have yet to recieve a call from someone who has a dx of Narco. Please answer my post because I am a lonely cat mom who is away from her friends and family during the holidays. cry sigh. I could sure use some new email pals too while I am making a pleading request. Any takers???? You would sure make my day if ya answer my prayers.

Luv and Purrs, Shercat
