Sherry: I'm young also - 55. Was diagnosed successfully for Nocolepsy three months ago. Have had some of the syptoms since early puberty. I take Provigil, Paxil and Imipramine for the narcoleptic symptoms (irratic nocturnal sleep, cataplexy and EDS). My other meds are Metoprolol, Lipitor, Triamterene/HCTZ, Norvasc, Gemfibrozil, Demadex, and Klo-Con. Now, I know that the Paxil really dampens your sexual activity, which I don't like. Would Klonopin be a substitute for Paxil & Imipramine? And if so, what are the side effects? Have you got any suggestions, I'm open to any ideas!
