I used Ritalin for about eight years. It really worked quite well for me, except for the need to take a day off per week. Sunday was like I got the whole week's worth of symptoms in a single day.
I have been using provigil since it became available. For me it works really well. I also take effexor to mitigate the cataplexy. The combination is almost entirely good for me.
Good luck and keep thumping at it. I think most of us can find acceptable levels of life if we are willing to be dilligent in our search for a better therapy.
