there is another article about hypocretin and narcolepsy in the news this one is at eurekalert (mednews link). I am so glad to see that Anthony vanden Pol is still interested in narcolepsy because he is so good at what he does and who he is and what he does is hypothalamic peptides. Also I read recently that NIH has given a grant to a pharmaceutical company that specializes in neuro endocrinology to develope a medicine for us that will act like hypocretin(in conjunction with Stanford) and I think they said they expect it to take no more than five years!
