Although it is possible for N to not appear until in the 40's, I'll bet you had it way before that and didn't know it because of the drinking. I never got into that stuff, but even in high school felt like I was drugged or drunk because of the EDS. Was always afraid the teachers thot I was using because my eyes had to have been half mast most of the time. I really think we, the narcolepsy community, need to push for education of our schools on the subject of sleep disorders. Who else would be in a position to see the signs of EDS than teachers. Once the end of the suit is written, I intend to go into the schools locally and tell my story and give the warning signs of a sleep disorder, whatever info I can get to pass out.

As for getting a life?? What would the rest of us do w/o you and your experience and humor. I'm also here most days because checking the forum is a break from working on the legal stuff. When I start to get drifty from that, I go to the forum to get some intellectual stimulation. Stuff you find here fascinates me and revs my brain up to go back to more droning work.
