Good question, Student!
I've wanted to post on the subject of jet lag to see if others experienced problems w/ it like I did. Haven't done extensive traveling, but several times have made 14 hr + flights. Love flying but just have trouble sleeping on planes. Funny since I have slept on every other mode of transportation, including motorcycles. When I got to my destination I usually ran on excitement for a while, but then got real goofy -- so much so that I once thot I had been drugged. Didn't understand N much at the time. Went between wake to dreaming on my feet and felt like I was floating, wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't. Probably about the same as a user's drug trip. When I returned home after having spent 3 wks in Hawaii having the time of my life, I went into a deep sleep. May have slept 10 hrs straight. When I awoke, I walked all around my apartment not knowing where I was or why. Got so freaked out I wanted to cry. I think that was one time where I may have done what TR said -- awakened to find myself already up and walking around. I think my mind awakened to find me examining a large piece of furniture I've had my whole life. My face was down an inch from it trying to place what it was. It was like I opened my eyes for the first time but I know in retrospect that my eyes already had to have been open.

I think you will likely have some days on your return where you won't be worth much. Call your doctor and see if they have any advice. Maybe changing your med schedule would help your body adjust. Somewhere someone has to have found a way for PWN to travel successfully. Hope your trip is an enjoyable one.
