If you find some good advice, let me know. I still can't get my own time zone down, let alone the others! My husband and I flew to Jamaica for our honeymoon/wedding, yes, in that order, and thank God it was in the same time zone! I go to the East coast from Chicago area, and it's an hour different, but I'm toast for a week. Or, maybe that's the stress of visiting the ex-husband's parents, grandparnets to my girls, and adopted grandparents to my son with new hubby. The stress thing makes me sleepy, too. Have fun at your event, and remember, you can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends! Safe trip!
